| Event Description |
Trail Tamers will be working once again at Bastrop State Park. Entrance is free for volunteers as is camping Friday night for any who would like to come out early.
Volunteers will install new markers and signs throughout the Bastrop State Park trail system to guide visitors over reroutes and new trails.
Meet at the parking lot beside the swimming pool by 9 a.m. on Saturday. Check in at the headquarters office, drive to the "Y", take a left and the first right. The pool is ahead and parking is to the right before you reach the pool.
As always, bring work gloves and wear sturdy shoes and clothing. If you have any questions or need more details, contact project leader Vick Hines. |
